Sliding Scale Application
Frequently Asked Questions
How are sliding scale applications reviewed?
Our team reviews each application with compassion and full discretion. We evaluate household income, family size, and any unique financial hardships to determine a supportive rate that aligns with your needs and our current availability.
How long does the review process typically take?
We strive to process all applications within 3 to 5 business days. Once your application is reviewed, our administration team will contact you via email to discuss the outcome and coordinate your initial consultation.
What happens after I submit my application?
After submission, your application is moved into a secure review queue. If approved and a opening exists, we match you with a therapist whose expertise fits your goals. If we are at capacity, we can place you on a priority waitlist.
Is my financial information kept confidential?
Yes. Your financial documents and application data are protected under HIPAA guidelines. Information is stored in a secure electronic system and is only accessible to authorized administrative staff for billing purposes.
How often do I need to re-apply for a sliding scale rate?
Sliding scale rates are typically reviewed every six months to ensure we are distributing our available spots equitably. We also ask that you notify us if your financial situation changes significantly during your treatment.
